In later marbled half cloth portfolio with gilt embossed title and mount. leather label with gilt-stamped title. – Partly dated, monogrammed and inscribed by the artist or with a suitable sentence. – Depicting dancing birds, a frog making music, a sad carrot, portraits of birds with hats, a long-legged bird as ‘An Adjutant General’, etc. – Enclosed contemporary (eh.?) handwritten note on card: ‘Original Et Et. Note on card: ‘Original Etchings by F. Marshall’. – Partly slightly browned and sporadically foxed, overall well preserved.
