Coronelli took the plates already engraved for the ‘Le Conquiste’ and added new material to prepare this work on the Morea” (Kat. Sotheby/ Slg. Atabey 282). “The plates in any work by Coronelli present a problem, as he added and substracted or changed plates as he saw fit.
