With bookplate of Balthassar Schreivogel Pastor Strainrirchius – 1588, and early label of Rochester Theological Seminary “Neander Library”. Original hand tooled pigskin binding over wooden panels. Worn, with missing piece of pigskin at the upper right corner of the front cover and some damage to the upper right corner of the back cover. Some wormholes at the covers and first and last few leaves. Good interior condition. Johannes Molitoris is the autor of the Repertorium, as it specified on fol.l5v. This is a minor reprint with minoor changes of the Michael Wenssler`sedition (GW2188).Title page woocut (`basilisk`) used as printers´s device (type1 **: fol.air, illustrator “Master of DS”. Chain books are extremly rare, especially when the hand-forged conetemporary chain is so authentic and unusually long (attachent, ring and 8 chain links).
